POLICY REGARDING PARTIAL DEPOSITS TO
HOLD RESERVATIONS AND FINAL PAYMENTS
would like to inform all interested individuals that a 50% of the total rental
fee is required within five business days of the date when a reservation is
confirmed. This way we can continue to block the calendar dates for which the
reservation has been hold. The funds
must be in US
The remaining balance becomes due as
low season: (May 1st – October 31st) the remaining
balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.
New Years (December 20th to January 3rd) and American Thanksgiving (November 20
to 27th) a 50% deposit is required at time when the reservation is confirmed and
the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.
high season: (November 1st – December 19th) and (January
4th – April 30th): the remaining balance is due 30 days
prior to the arrival date.
If your reservation is made/booked/confirmed less than 30 days from the booking
date during the previously-mentioned holiday period then the full payment
is due within five business days of confirmed reservation. Guests will receive
an email containing all the deposit information as their reservation
have the right to cancel any reservations and unblock the reserved dates in our
availability calendar if funds are not received according to our deposit policy.
We reserve the right to treat any
reservation as cancelable if payment schedules are not met. An extension can be
requested in writing for special circumstances.
We understand that sometimes travel plans can change due to unexpected circumstances, so we, at the Residence at El Almendro have created and strictly impose the following cancellation policies.
For a complete refund of the reservation payment, the reservation must be cancelled before 30 days of arrival date.
For a 50% refund of the reservation payment, the reservation must be cancelled between 15 - 30 days before arrival date.
No refunds are issued when the reservation is cancelled between 15 - 0 days before arrival date. Instead, we will honor the same amount of reserved days (minus one) for a future reservation. However, this type of arrangement needs to be plan ahead of time so we can make sure the new dates are available on The Residence at El Almendro's availability calendar.
No refunds are issued for no-shows or early check-outs.
When guests choose to pay for their reservations with a personal check: If reservations are cancelled and any refunds apply, the refund can only be made once the personal check has been fully processed and honor by the issuing banking institution. No refunds will be given to any guests when paying by check until we know the check has been fully honored.
RATE CHANGE DISCLOSURE
Rates confirmed via email are considered final. Please know that rates are subject to change on our website and there will be no rate reduction for lower published rates on our website or any other form of printed material. Guests will not be charged for any increased published rates after their reservation is confirmed via email. This policy does not apply to errors made by The Residence at El Almendro's proprietors, agents, authorized representatives and anyone else authorized to confirmed The Residence at El Almendro's reservations. Any errors dealing with reservation rates or information regarding dates, number of guests, will be changed to reflect the accurate reservation information and an updated reservation document will be issued.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
The check in time for The Residence at El Almendro's is at 3:00 PM and check out time is 12:00 Noon.
We understand that some guests might need to arrive earlier or leave later due to their travel/flight arrangements, so those guests wishing or needing to arrange different check in and check out hours are encouraged to make their requests and we will do everything we can to make the arrival or departure as nice and convenient as possible.
A security deposit of $150.00 will be required for each reservation. This fee is fully refundable provided there is no damage - other than the usual tear and wear - to the unit, building, contents, furnishings, and no additional services are left unpaid. The security deposit is available for guests within 10 days after check out date.
Guests have the option of paying for the security deposit at the same time when they pay for the initial 50% deposit or when they make the final payment for their reservation.
The security deposit helps us ensure that all guests will act responsibly and that the property will be left in perfect conditions for the next visiting guests.
